My Mom had this idea to make a time capsule. We're going to put it together, and not open it for ten years.
That got me thinking how the electronics have gotten better in the last ten years.
Have you ever thought about electronics before?
Do you remember the Jetsons, and how they could video chat? I know I thought that it would be really cool if we could do that. Well, now we can with the Ipod Touch 4G. You don't even need a phone, just Wi-Fi. Another example of how electronics have improved is the Nintendo Game Boy. It has been upgraded to a DS, then the DSi, and now it's the 3DS. It's amazing how they have improved.
We have all of this technology. The computer, and all the methods of communication on it. Game systems, like Wii and Kinect.
Isn't it amazing how our technology has changed in the last 10 years?
I can only imagine how it will have changed 10 years from now!
What is most amazing is that in 1980 computers were so big that specail rooms were built to house them. The first computer I worked with required switching floppies and was really slow. The first hard-drive we used was a big whoppin' 10 mega-byte....yep, David.. electronics have traveled from time to time... Love you... Grandad
